Physical Signs that You Are Not Coping with Stress

Reduced Concentration

One of the main signs that you are not coping is if you have a reduced level of concentration. You may find it difficult to focus or even that you feel disconnected from the world. This can also be a sign of depression as well, so you need to make sure that you keep a journal that documents the way that you feel. If you do this then you will be able to pinpoint the problems you are having and the way that you are feeling in response to them. If your concentration issues come down to drugs then you need to think about going through a drug rehab centre.

Feeling Tired

Another sign that there is something wrong is if you feel tired all the time. You may find that you lack motivation and that you also have a change in appetite too. If this is the case with you, then one thing that you can do is try and make sure that you are getting to sleep at the same time every night. It also helps to get up at the same time as well. If you are out of work right now, then it can be very difficult to stay in a good routine, but if you force yourself, then you will almost certainly feel better as a result.

Knots in your Stomach

If you are concerned about having knots in your stomach then this is another sign that you are not coping well with stress. It may be that you have heart palpitations and that you also struggle to even think about eating anything. This is very normal if you experience anxiety. If you want to try and stop this from becoming an issue, then you need to try and deal with the source of the stress. If you don’t then it may end up consuming you and you may never find a way out of the situation you are in right now.

Lack of Motivation

If you are struggling with motivation then you may be under too much stress. It may be that you are just not able to push yourself to do all of the things you know need to be done and that you also have a hard time focusing on the future as well. If you want to try and stop this from becoming too much of an issue then you need to focus on eliminating stress as much as possible. If you are under pressure from work, then talk to your boss. If you are under pressure from family, then talk to someone and try to do everything you can to rely on others. If you are able to do this then there is no reason at all that you shouldn’t feel much better and more refreshed after.
